Stephanie J. Mensing Obtains Arbitration Award For Client’s Disputed Bonus
Mensing Law LLC recently obtained a $274,486.64 arbitration award on behalf of a client who filed an arbitration claim against a former employer regarding a disputed bonus. The primary issue in the case was whether the client was entitled to the bonus under the terms of a contract between the employer and the client. Following arbitration, the arbitrator ruled in the client’s favor on both claims – breach of contract and violation of the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law. The client’s claims went to arbitration instead of being filed in a court because the contract required that all disputes be resolved through arbitration.
